About me
From my early years, I have always been an explorer and wanted to investigate and understand how things are constructed and what makes them work. My parents always tell me that if there was a button you could push, I would be there testing it to see what would happen, and sometimes that would get me into trouble. My hobby was to take apart electronic gadgets and try to understand what made them work.
Ever since the day our Intel 486, with the turbo button, was set up on a table in the corner of the dining room, I've been using a computer nearly every day. When I was 15, I got my first summer job, and with the money I earned I bought parts to assemble my very first own computer. The interest in computers and technical stuff has always been there, but back then, I never thought of working with it professionally.
Some time after high school I started my career as a truck driver in the forest industry, but after ten years I decided it was time to try something new. I wanted to work with something that involved building and creating technical things. I found a program in composite technology, and mainly because of the CAD courses, I decided to enroll. After a completed course I ended up with a 3d-printer, and was back in the forest industry but now as a producer of bio composite material, that was not what I was aiming for. So I decided to aim a little bit higher and applied to Computer Science at Halmstad university and got in.
I really enjoyed my time at university. Working and solving problems with like-minded people, I believe, truly helps you grow. I've always appreciated discussing the subjects we were studying or trying to understand, and how each of us had different ways of approaching a topic. For me, that exchange of ideas and mutual learning was the most motivating part of the experience.
